Importance Of Secondary Activities
Secondary production increases the value or usefulness of a material by changing its form. Such activities include manufacturing and commercial agriculture. This provision of form utility may range from simple handicraft production to the delicate assembly of electronic goods or automobile production and chemical industries etc., are included in this phase of the production process. The last 200 years of world history had witnessed a tremendous growth of manufacturing industries throughout the world. The industrial revolution of Europe gave a fillip to the development of manufacturing industries.
